Set up your code.
Install an authenticator app if you do not have one. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, or the Passwords app already on your iPhone all work.
Open the app and choose scan a QR code. Scan the QR image I emailed you. If you are reading this on the same phone, save the image first and use the app's choose from photos option instead.
The app now shows a six-digit code for Canady Advisors that changes every thirty seconds. That is your second factor, forever. You never need the QR again.
Two fields, ten seconds.
Open your bookmark, enter your passcode.
Read the current six-digit code from your authenticator app, type it in. Done.
If something is not working.
The six-digit code keeps failing
Codes expire every thirty seconds. Wait for a fresh one and type it quickly. If it still fails, your phone clock may be off: turn on automatic date and time in your phone settings, then try again.
It says too many attempts
Five wrong tries locks the door for fifteen minutes. Wait it out, then try again with a fresh code.
I lost my phone or deleted the app
Text me. I will issue a new QR code in a couple of minutes.
I want the documents emailed instead
Just ask. Send me the address you want them at.
Can I upload files to you?
Yes. Inside the portal there is an upload box. PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, and CSV, up to 25 MB each. I get an alert the moment something lands.
